Todd Severson is the managing partner at Symmetry Companies, a distinguished master-planned community developer based in Scottsdale. With a focus on luxury residential neighborhoods that incorporate elite private golf clubs, he plays a pivotal role in steering the company’s innovative vision.

Symmetry Companies boasts an impressive portfolio, including two of Arizona’s most sought-after private golf communities – Pine Canyon, a luxurious alpine retreat in Flagstaff, and Talking Rock Ranch, a rustic, high-desert escape in Prescott. Committed to creating strategic solutions that deliver impactful results, he focuses on acquiring land development projects and oversees assets under management.

With a diverse background in design, finance and development, his career centers around creating exceptional places and experiences. His industry expertise in the resort sector combines a passion for design with in-depth real estate knowledge. Prior to joining Symmetry Companies, he served as director of acquisitions, entitlements, and infrastructure at Discovery Land Company, where he led the launch of two international resort communities in the Caribbean with Barbuda Ocean Club and Playa Grande Golf and Ocean Club.

Dedicated to building lasting relationships and mentoring the next generation of real estate professionals, he is currently a faculty associate at Arizona State University, where he teaches a course in Real Estate Analysis within the Master of Real Estate Development, the same program from which he graduated. Additionally, he’s served on multiple AzTAP councils, participated in UrbanPlan events and taken a leadership role within the Young Leaders Partnership Forum for the Urban Land Institute of Arizona.

An avid traveler, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, exploring new destinations and embarking on outdoor adventures together.
